Invisalign offers a product designed to help kids and tweens ages 6 to 10 called Invisalign First. This new option allows orthodontists to look for problems or potential issues and start treatment early instead of waiting until all the permanent teeth come in.

How Invisalign for kids works

Invisalign First starts with a scan of your child’s mouth and teeth — no impressions required. Your orthodontist will then plan the Invisalign treatment digitally to help keep you in the loop on the progress.

Most often, your child will only wear their aligners at home and overnight for the first six months to get them into a routine. Once that is established, we will move your child into full-time wear. The goal of Invisalign First is to help children accommodate their permanent teeth.
